The Dolphin Print MIS was developed in 1995 by Tobie van Dyk & Trentin Barnard (Dolphin Computer Systems) in order to fill a niche in the Printing Industry that existed for a windows based Cost & Estimation software solution.

Both Tobie van Dyk and Trentin Barnard obtained their honors degrees in 1995. They have since been contracted by various commercial, state, semi-state and financial institutions to deliver complete software applications and several components to other software applications (TELKOM, SPOORNET, I-NETBRIDGE).

Originally Dolphin Computer Systems was solely responsible for the development, marketing, implementation, training and after sales support on the Dolphin Print MIS until May 2000, when they contracted the marketing, implementation, training and after sales support components of the business in South Africa to ANWOL Consulting CC, while retaining sole ownership and development rights to the application.

ANWOL Consulting CC consists of Neville Angilley, Louise Wolmarans and Jaques Wolmarans. Neville Angilley is a qualified photo-lithographer and cost estimator with more than 25 years of experience in the printing industry. His intimate knowledge of the industry and its culture has made him extremely capable of not only assessing the customers needs, but also able to adapt the software around the customers exact business requirements.

Louise Wolmarans has more than 16 years accounting and customer services management experience with amongst others the South African Revenue Services, ABSA Bank and various commercial companies. Her dedication to the customer and commitment to striving for perfection makes her invaluable to the Dolphin Team.

Jaques Wolmarans is a qualified and certified large scale network engineer who started his career in IT in Telkom SA in 1990. He then worked as a field-engineer in the Natal region from 1996 to 1998 for a Wide-Area Networking company. From 1998 to 2000 he was technical manager at a company in Bryanston Johannesburg, until he decided in May 2000 to go into the joint venture with Dolphin Computer Systems on the Dolphin Print MIS.

In 2003 Dolphin contracted CT Consulting (Pty) Ltd to manage the Dolphin clients in Australia.

Dolphin Print MIS is being used currently by more than 400 companies in South-Africa and 100 overseas companies, all being supported by the dedicated Dolphin team based in Alberton Gauteng.
